2016 SAT Test vs ACT Test Seminar main image

On Saturday, January 16, close to 30 people interested in applying to US universities came to KEY for a seminar on the topics of standardized tests and the college admissions essay.

These two parts of the US university application cause students the most anxiety. However, the audience was provided with guidance and tips shared by Richard Dalton, founder of Your Score Booster, and Sarah Chapman, an admissions strategist at KEY.

Some of the topics discussed during the seminar included:

  • The SAT test vs the ACT test
  • Tricks and strategies of the SAT and ACT
  • What you need to know about the new SAT
  • How to choose which test to take
  • The dos and don’ts of good college admissions essay writing
  • Develop effective hooks for your readers
  • Convey your passion and genuine self

Attendees commented that the information that was provided was very helpful, especially since they felt confident that the advice was being given by real experts. This insider information would be difficult to find anywhere else.
