Building an impressive profile - How to break a “Typical Asian Applicant” stereotype
In 2021, Harvard University received 57,435 applications, but only issued 1,968 offers. This means the acceptance rate hit a record low of 3.4%.
If you are eager to become one of the “chosen ones” among thousands of impressive applicants, an excellent academic record is just a stepping stone; the best way to stand out is your profile. A profile is like a mirror; it can reflect the students‘ personality, hobbies, family background, and their uniqueness, all of which will tell the admissions officer how well the applicant's characteristics match the school‘s value. However, the admissions officer of Princeton University has pointed out that the profiles of Asian applicants are “too similar to be distinguished”.
To help you build a unique and impressive profile, KEY is proud to present our University Admissions Seminar Series.
