Josefina Rios

Josefina Rios is an experienced Early Childhood Educator and Preschool Manager with a strong foundation in classroom leadership, program management, and team development. She has worked in preschool, independent school, and public school settings, bringing a collaborative and organized approach to early learning environments.

Josefina served as a Lead Teacher at Vancouver Hebrew School and Ashwood Glen School, where she guided teaching teams, designed engaging lesson plans, conducted ongoing assessments, and supported individualized learning while ensuring compliance with provincial regulations. She has served in a managerial capacity, supporting daily operations, mentoring educators, coordinating schedules, and strengthening communication with families.

At LaunchPad Academy, Josefina oversees daily operations, maintains a safe and welcoming learning environment, and supports staff professional growth. She is passionate about curriculum development and continuous improvement, fostering children’s confidence, independence, and curiosity while cultivating a collaborative, high-performing preschool community grounded in KEY’s core values.
